Mexican Cooking School in San Miguel de Allende

Thank you for contacting me. Here is the Cooking Class information you will need to start your exciting and authentic Mexican cooking experience.

Classes:

Demonstration group class
This class is open to everybody and can accept up to 10 students. Student hands-on participation is not available here, only attendance to the class. A minimum quantity of students to start a class applies.

Tamales Class
This is the only class that cannot be demonstration; due to it’s nature, it must be hands-on and can accept up to 8 students. A minimum quantity of students to start a class applies.

Hands-on class
We can take up to 4 people for this class. With this option, you can invite the rest of your traveling group at the end of the class to have lunch with you and enjoy the experience -for a small charge-! A minimum quantity of students to start a class applies.

All classes are in English 

Prices:

$55 US dollars per person per demonstration class.

$99 US dollars per person per hands-on class.

$20 US dollars per person as a guest arriving at the end of the class.
This option only applies to hands-on classes.

Payment:

• A 50% deposit or a credit card information is needed to guarantee your reservation. In case you choose to guarantee your class with your VISA or MasterCard, it will only be charged in case of cancellation or no show.

• All classes must be fully paid in cash before the class starts.

• Our prices include the class, printed recipes and lunch per student. 

Notes:
Classes are from Monday to Friday, starting at 10:00 a.m.
A special schedule can be arranged for private groups.

The maximum demonstration group size is 10 students.
If you gather a group of 9 people, you will be my guest.

Classes are designed for all age adults and children over 12 years old. To preserve the level of traditional Mexican cooking during the classes, we do not admit children under 12 years old.

List of requirements you should send me by email to reserve:

  • Address and Telephone number in San Miguel de Allende, either the house or the hotel where you're staying.
  • Your selection of hands-on or demonstration class.
  • Specific menu you want to learn.
  • Please let us know if you are allergic to any food.
  • Number of participants in your group.

Once you have all this information, please send it to: classinfo@marilau.com As soon as we have it and confirm the Credit Card info, we will proceed to confirm your reservation.

Cancellation:

Full refunds will apply only for cancellations made ten days prior to the class booked. No refund will apply after that.
